Before you begin
- A signed-in account with available credits.
- A story brief, script or saved film conversation.
What you’ll achieve:
Model choices
Settings lets you choose image and video models for this conversation. Default follows Tong’s current defaults. Model capabilities, content policies and prices still apply, including for unrestricted workflows.
Open Film maker
Choose Film maker in navigation. Describe your film directly or use a suggestion to prepare the prompt; suggestions do not send a request for you.

Share your idea or script
Paste your script or describe the story, audience, visual style and intended length. Say which details must stay consistent across scenes.

Choose your review mode
Choose Guide me for creative checkpoints or Just make it for automatic continuation. Select Send message when your brief is ready.

Review the proposed script
Read the script in chat. In guided mode, choose Use this script when it matches your intent, or describe the changes you need in a message.

A useful tip
A film request started in Assistant stays in that conversation. You can also request an image or audio while working in Film maker.
If something goes wrong
Reopen the saved conversation and read its status before sending again. Let active work finish; an unavailable preview or connection does not mean a new generation is needed.
Read first, create when you’re ready
Reading this guide is free. Assistant and Film maker use credits as they work and pause when your balance is insufficient. Guide me pauses for creative review; Just make it continues automatically.
